Terms of Use
This is a courtesy English translation; the Spanish version is the legally binding one.
1. Nature of the site
This site (tunton.com) is informational. Its content — articles, guides, criteria, and calculators — is offered for educational purposes and does not constitute personalized legal, tax, or financial advice, nor a binding credit offer. Any transaction with Tunton Fin, S.A.P.I. de C.V. is evaluated case by case and is governed exclusively by the agreements that, where applicable, are entered into in writing.
2. Calculators and estimates
The site's tools run 100% in your browser, do not store information, and produce estimates based on the assumptions stated on each page (simplified methodologies, editable example values). Their results are not a quote, offer, or guarantee; the actual terms of any transaction may differ. Always verify official figures against the corresponding sources (Banxico, SAT, DOF).
3. No taking of deposits from the public
Tunton Fin, S.A.P.I. de C.V. does not take deposits from the public: it does not receive deposits, savings, or "investments," nor does it promise returns — activities reserved by the Ley de Instituciones de Crédito (Mexican Credit Institutions Law) (arts. 2 and 103) to authorized entities. Nothing on this site should be interpreted as an invitation to hand over funds to Tunton with an obligation to repay.
4. Content and legal grounds
The regulatory and case-law references on the site correspond to the date of each publication and may change. We make a reasonable effort to verify them against primary sources (and document this accordingly), but we do not guarantee their permanent validity or their applicability to specific cases.
5. Intellectual property
The site's content (text, design, the TUNTON brand, the code of the tools) is the property of Tunton Fin, S.A.P.I. de C.V. or is used with authorization. You may quote excerpts with attribution and a link; substantial reproduction or commercial use without written consent is prohibited.
6. Links to third parties
Links to third-party portals (Banxico, SAT, CONDUSEF, Buró de Crédito, etc.) are provided for convenience; we do not control or answer for their content or availability.
7. Availability and liability
The site is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Tunton shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of the site or from decisions made based on its content or on the results of the calculators.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute related to the site, the parties submit to the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León, waiving any other venue.
